A wonderful 1920s travelling EGGS box made by The Dairy Outfit Co Ltd. To carry 12 Dozen Eggs.
EGGS on all four sides. On the front and back there are two circles with "THE DAIRY OUTFIT CO LTD KINGS CROSS LONDON N1" "EGGS STANDARD"
On the top the owners (farmers) name is painted on E JOHNSON CRAYKE Mr EASINGWOLD Stn. The eggs would have travelled by train from the country into the towns.
Brass padlock is mine.
