Superb Butchers Block on Original Victorian Base

Genuine Antique Butchers Block made of Wonderful Maple Blocks on the Original Victorian Pegged Pine Base.

It is a 3 foot x 2 foot one on a slatted shelf base. The base is raised on industrial castors (the castors have been on a long while but are a later addition).

I have seen many blocks sold with a layer of wax put over the original "muck" fat & dirt. Rest assured the top has been sanded to take the top few milimetres off. It is now clean & you can see all the original maple squares. Once it was back to its natural glory it was then waxed over. Also the bolts which hold the maple blocks together (ends of the bolts found under the wooden circles on the side) have been tightened so there are no gaps.

It is in wonderful antique condition.........With a great colour.

Very heavy & would have to be collected - I can recommend a courier.
