Fully working Child`s Victorian High Chair which also converts into a rocker. Dates to approx 1885.
An iron lever is just underneath the seat on one side - you pull this to release the legs and push down into rocking position & it clicks into place. Same in reverse - pull lever, stand up & click into position.
The tray sits at the front but when they are a little older & you want to push them to the table the tray just flips over the back - so easy.
The legs are fitted with cast iron wheels so it moves around easily.
Lovely colour & completely original. A great little find. Perfectly useable not as delicate as you may think. Just as good to use now as it was then!
