Early 20th Century Heavy White Ironstone Grocers Advertising Slab for D.C.L. Yeast. DCL (Distillers Company Ltd) was formed in 1877 and made yeast for Brewing and Baking Industries. This would have showed off yeast for bread in the Grocers Window.
Overall good and clean...unusual shape. There is a knock to one corner and when turned over a chip to the underneath (not visible at all when the right way up).
