Super Rare Late Victorian Harris's Sausages Are The Best Adv Plate

A very rare advertising plate....Late Victorian and from the Harris's Wholesale Corner at Smithfiled Market. Used for display and to the back "NOT TO BE BOUGHT OR SOLD THE PROPERTY OF WILLIAM HARRIS". 

White ironstone and around the front HARRIS'S SAUSAGES ARE THE BEST. Centrally a pig being ridden by a jockey and underneath "The Winner of the Pork Sausage Derby".

Its just a great collectable & humerous piece. The front has slight crazing to the left and on the back a chip. See all photographs - I have had this plate on a wall for years and the chip wasnt noticeable...the very last photograph shows you can only just see something if you look at the very left side edge.
