Absolutely superb and large set of Edwardian Avery's white ironstone Dairy Scales. These are the best scales I have had in a long while.
Lovely condition too...one chip to the base of one leg only which is remarkable as they are ceramic.
Armorial Crest central front By Appointment to the King with WT AVERY one side and BIRMINGHAM the other. Brass pan and ceramic scale plate also with the armorial crest and Appointment to the King. Brass carrying handle.
Large and heavy and a great decorative item.
