c.1940s Plate Rack with its Original Galvanised Drip Tray (these are nearly always missing.)
The plate rack holds modern size dinner plates easily (see pic) but will also hold side plates/smaller plates. There is a handy mug/cup rack along the top.
The plate rack freestands easily by your sink so you can use it when washing up OR there are holes at the top to wall hang & use it to store your plates.
It will wax/polish well but at the moment it is a lovely faded colour...all beech wood and if you are going to use it by the sink you wouldn`t want it waxed. So....I have left as I found.
The silver plaque on the back is plain the name has rubbed off.
