Superb Large 8 Dozen Egg Box - McFarlane Glasgow

Superb - best I have had in a while, early 20th Century Travelling "EGGS" Box.

Holds 8 Dozen Eggs & contains all the original stacking trays.

Made of pine & ply with iron binding it is in such good condition. These nearly always have worm & this has 2 holes only! & all gone years ago.

Brass carrying handle to the top with the original plaque "MAKERS J & A McFARLANE, Limited, GLASGOW"

EGGS is printed twice on the front & once on the top, both sides & back.

On the back there is the trace of an original address. Brass padlock mine & not included...
