A rare jug...dating to the early 20th Century it is white ironstone and made by Gresley..stamp to the base.

A wonderfully clear MILK to one side. Inside a measure Half Pint, Pint, Pint & Half, Quart (Two Pints).

There is a weeny chip on the back of the spout (not visible when displayed) and on the handle at the bottom there is a hairline...it hasnt broken and is perfectly solid but have to mention it is there.

Fantastic piece in with a collection of white ironstone though and I dont see these for years on end!
