Truely WONDERFUL Condition Victorian Chemists Jar.

Hand blown and reverse painted and the paint is in such good condition. Clearly seen is a wonderful lion and unicorn...central royal crest and the wording COLOCYNTH.

It has a hand painted tin lid. No damage. Large rough pontil (as there should be) to the base and an internal photograph shows really minimal paint loss...some around the back bottom edge. 

A wonderful size too....SO decorative. COLOCYNTH, Bitter Apple or Desert Gourd has been used by Chemists for Centuries. The oil from its seeds is used for medicinal and soap production.

I would prefer collection or courier because of its worth.
