Not often seen 1940s Shops Glass Counter Top Advertising Jar for Cheese Straws. 

Very clearly on the side in blue an red is "Top people eat CHEDDAR CHEESE STRAWS" It also has the advantage of having its original twist lid which is often missing.

Look closely and there is a hairline crack in the side of the lid...positioned facing down you cant see it..but I have priced the jar less than usual because of this.
