A very rare piece of early shops advertising. This jar is the ONLY one of these I have had in 25 years or that I have seen. I had to pay more than I thought I would have to, to buy it but I had to have it. 

Edwardian and in excellent condition this is a shops counter top advertising jar for ROWNTREES PASTILLES it has Rowntrees Pastilles etched on its back and still has its Original Lid. On the underside in the glass is BRITISH MADE Regd No 776957
